Beaufort County School District Teacher of the Year

Each year the Foundation honors the Beaufort County School District Teacher of the Year with the Dr. Wayne Carbiener “Above and Beyond" Award. Dr. Wayne Carbiener's family was represented by Mike Carbiener (son), Julie Carbiener (daughter-in-law), Jacque (wife) and Maddie (grand daughter.)  Foundation Chair, Deborah Colella, joined them to share the recognition with the district teacher of the year, Karen McKenzie at H.E. McCracken Middle School.
