The Foundation is SO THANKFUL for our generous contributors…many have been supporting the Foundation for numerous years. Recently, the former members of The Rotary Club of Okatie made a large donation that will make a huge impact on the students and teachers of Beaufort County.
Lisa Carroll, Chair of The Foundation for Educational Excellence, attended a friendly potluck dinner with former members of The Rotary Club of Okatie to receive a contribution to the Foundation for Educational Excellence for their 2022-23 Fall grant awards. Each year, the Foundation gives innovative educational grants to teachers and schools throughout the Beaufort County School District. These grants fund learning projects that go beyond the basic, empowering inventive teachers to transform the educational experience and spark inquisitive young minds.
We are so grateful for generous community organizations that help The Foundation fulfill our mission of seeking and sustaining county-wide charitable and educational resources that support the goals of the public schools of Beaufort County, SC.
